Pseudocode, what is that?

Pseudocode is an informal way of writing an algorithm similar to a programming language. The major use of pseudocode is to get to know the general functions of a new program before writing any real code. Think about pseudocode as a rough draft of your code.

As a program in pseudocode is not an executable program, there are no standards to follow.

Advantages of writing pseudocode:
- you can break down complex problems into small steps
- force you to think about your problem before writing any code
- anyone can write it, and it’s easy to ready
